11/28—Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks
Looking at the two teams’ records you would think that this game might not have much to offer. However, consider this, the Bulls and the Bucks are division rivals and they will be playing in the newest NBA arena, the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks feature superstar, and potential MVP candidate, Giannis Antetokounmpo, also known as the “Greek Freak”, while the Bulls feature Zach Lavine, one of the leading scorers in the NBA. This game should be high-scoring and it will be a great game to kick off the trip.
1/8—Minnesota Timberwolves at Oklahoma City Thunder
Another game you should be marking down on your calendars is the matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder. These two teams will square off in the new year, and all eyes will be on the Thunder’s superstar point guard, Russell Westbrook. His main opposition will be Timberwolves’ point guard and former MVP, Derrick Rose, who is having a career rejuvenation. This game features two former MVP point guards from the same draft class—what’s not to love?
1/15—Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets
At the time of this writing the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets are the top two teams in the Western Conference. This happens to be the most affordable game to see the Warriors all season, and it is a plus that this game is such a great matchup. The Warriors are the modern NBA dynasty, while the Nuggets are one of 29 other teams that are trying to figure out how to beat the Warriors. The Nuggets have been a pleasant surprise this season and this game will probably be a lot closer than you might expect.
1/23—Toronto Raptors at Indiana Pacers
The Toronto Raptors went out and traded for Kawhi Leonard, and so far, it has turned out to be a great move. The Indiana Pacers are perennial playoff contenders, and another postseason berth looks possible behind the play of star guard Victor Oladipo. This is a great game to see because it could be a potential playoff matchup down the road.
3/31—Los Angeles Lakers at New Orleans Pelicans
The last game on the trip features Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers traveling to New Orleans to take on Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans. This also happens to be the most affordable game to see the Lakers play, and it features a great matchup between two top-5 players. What better way to end the trip, than by seeing arguably the greatest current player square off against another superstar?
For the die-hard NBA fan this trip is absolutely perfect because you can see every NBA team play over the course of 5 months, and all for under $225. If you go to any or all of the games on this list be sure to let us know, and don’t forget to Rate Your Seats!
