    • First Balcony

      -

The First Balcony at Auditorium Theatre in Chicago is divided into three sections: Front, Middle, and Rear. Each tier sits right behind the other without an aisle break. Front Balcony  All FBLC sections are clear from obstructions. For this reason, these are the preferred seats when looking for tickets on this level. Angles can vary quite a bit with the balcony wrapping around the orchestra below. However, even the sharpest angle in FBL-R and FBL-L has a good view of the stage. Middle Balcony The middle balcony is made up of rows J-R. The first pillars that hold the upper balcony are located in these rows. Obstructions are limited, but we recommend the following rows: CR or CL: Rows N or below R, RC, L or LC: Rows P or below  Rear Balcony The least desirable seats on the First Balcony level are in the Rear Balcony. This includes rows S-Z. What makes these seats undesirable are the far distance and obstructed views. Fans are left with a tight window between the poles and the upper balcony above. For this reason, we recommend comparing these seats closely with those in the Upper Balcony. The distance and obstructions are similar, but the extra height can often give a better experience.
