Center Ice in the Upper Level

    Jan 2016

    Hockey Review
    Section 301, Row K, Seats 7-8

With these seats there was a lot of good and a lot of bad. First off, the good: these seats were perfectly at center ice. You could see end to end without straining your neck - just a small turn of the head and you can see breakouts with no issues. In fact, my girlfriend - who hasn't been to a hockey game with me in four years - said that she really enjoys live hockey and how easy it was to follow. I think these seats made it so much easier for her to see. What I didn't like was the steepness of the upper level. I thought being in row K - which is 8 rows up the stairs - wasn't going to be that bad - but walking up those 8 rows is a pain. In fact, I decided not to drink this night because I didn't want the hassle of carrying beers up the stairs and the hassle of walking down to go to the bathroom. If I had aisle seats I probably would have gone for it. In almost any seat you won't be able to see something. In our case, it was the battles on the boards closest to us. It was a little annoying at first, but the beautiful jumbotron really helped in those circumstances. By the second period I was really adept at checking the videoboard for those scrums and then focusing back on the ice when the puck was free. Overall, solid seats for seeing everything on the ice. A little inconvenient at times, but definitely recommended for seasoned and amateur hockey fans.

    • Terrace Level

      -

On the Amalie Arena seating chart, 300-level sections are commonly referred to as Terrace sections. Terrace Level tickets are the cheapest way to attend a Lightning game or a concert. Where to Sit on the Terrace Level There are more than 20 rows of seats in most Terrace Level sections. As a result, your experience will vary depending on which row you choose. We recommend being as close to Row C as possible. This is the third row in each section, so you'll have a view similar to what guests have on the Suite Level. This is also where the section entrance is located. Sitting close to this row will make it easier to get to and from concessions and amenities. Additional Notes Sections 303-314 are recommended for Lightning fansThe home team shoots twice on this end The opposite side is recommended for visiting fans  For most concerts, side sections like 316 and 317 are much closer to the stage than end sections (e.g.: 308, 309)

    • "Great seats for the price "

      (Section 318) - -

Sat in row A which is the first row of the section. The lighting only attack once but you still get a good view of the other end. You can also put your feet up if you are in row A. Probably not good if you are afraid of heights, however.

    • "Horrible - they should not sell these seats- no visual of stage only back of stage - does not deserve one star"

      (Section 329) - -

Bad bad and bad!!! Would never return to Amalie Arena - 8 ounce beer and 4 ounce wine were $30.00- Horrible seats and a rip off
