Stairs were steep to get up to Row 15, but once there got a good view of the whole court and could see the plays develop and track all the action. Very cool for the basketball strategist or avid fan, might not be the best for young ones or those looking to impress a guest. Vendors were scarce, and ambient noise (in addition to my awful hearing) made conversation a bit difficult, but very fun to watch the fluidity and fast pace of the game from the angle we had. Once down the stairs and out the entrance for 309/310, mens room was maybe 10 steps, but women's was a bit further down. Concession stand just outside the section entrance with standard stadium food and beverage. Although there was a cool open air bar just a few steps down from the men's room with more premium selection of beers. Very cool.
My son's grandfather pays over $300 for $250 face value 11th row seats and you can't see over a 3rd of the court. The seats are directly behind the giant NBA hoop stand where most venues put stairs! What a scam the Bulls are running here. If you want to watch the game on the jumbo TV scoreboard from rows 1 to about 25 in floor section 106 (same on the other end) go ahead and buy these totally obstructed vue seats. Includes seats 5,6,7,8 from rows 1 to about 25 when you are finally high enough to see something over the hoop stand. Thank you United center and Chicago Bulls.
I am a season ticket holder in the 300 level, so this review is relative to experiences in that section.
The view from these seats is amazing. When a team is on a fast break and players are sprinting down the court on this wing, you feel like they're coming right at you. The officials in the NBA are terrible and there were a couple of calls that we could make from our seats that the officials initially got wrong and subsequently overturned -- you are that close. This was row 4, but is really the 7th row.
The restrooms are a bit of a pain to get to -- and the line was out the door -- but that's because people insisted on creating one line for all the urinals instead of playing roulette and choosing a urinal line to stand in.
From an entertainment perspective, there are a lot of opportunities for t-shirts, Benny the Bull is always on this sideline and the cheerleaders are right there.
One drawback is the length of the rows -- about 20 or so seats. If you are stuck in the middle, you'll have to fight off about 10 angry stares each time you exit the row and head to the concourse. Also, the seats are a bit tight -- and none of them are open -- so you will be rubbing elbows with your neighbor. A subtle drawback to great seats and a successful team.
Face value: $160.00.
These seats are first row directly behind the bulls bench, during timeouts it is like you are right there with Coach Thibs. Truly a unique experience to be see and hear the bulls players. The court action is great, the only negative is if you have little kids they might not be able to see real well over the players, but then again to sit that close to the players they won't mind at all.
Saturday nite games at the United Center are always great, especially when a team like the Celtics is in town. This section was lively, family-friendly and very into the game.
The section was full of true basketball fans. Everyone near us was friendly and we all enjoyed cheering the Bulls on. Great view and great location to bathrooms and food.
These seats are perfect! We were close to the floor without being too close. And since they were in the corner, we got a great angle of the whole floor. Perks: Cantina Bar (margaritas!) and Taco Bar is right there. Vendors came like clockwork. Cons: the seats are little tight for us long legged people. The fans in our sections weren't loud enough for me.
This review is for the 2013 McDonald's All American Game at the United Center.
These particular seats are pretty good as far as corner seats go. They are right in the middle of the row, so you'll want to make friends with the people on the aisle to avoid nasty looks and groans if you get up to get concessions and go to the restroom. Normally, these club seats come with in-seat wait service, but that was not offered for this high school game. Never-the-less, the lines for concessions and restrooms is much lighter than on the 300 level. So if you can get out of the row quickly, there are very few stairs to get to the tunnel so grabbing a quick snack and getting back to the seats is doable during a long timeout.
The view from these seats is pretty good. There is a glass partition that can easily be seen through if you sit back in your chair. Seat 8 is better than Seat 7 because the curve of the section is right at Seat 7. The glass splits in front of Seat 7 and can be somewhat of a distraction to some people. In terms of corner seating, it's a lot better than sitting in the 300 level, though seats closer to mid-court are ideal.
There are no cupholders, though a thin ledge in front of you was adequate for putting your cell phone on if you didn't want to keep it in your pocket. It was a small thing, but was also very handy.
