Some people would think being at the top would prevent you from a good view, but it actually feels like the field is close and you can see everything. I loved these seats.

The view from the rangers website where I purchased these seats was NOTHING like reality. We were completely covered. No view of scoreboard and unable to the infield (only able to see 2ns base when seated). The location was also basically a wind tunnel (probably nice on a warm day but felt like antarctica on an overcast day in the low 70's. I bought these tickets for my sons 12th birthday and when I complained to guest relations I was told there was nothing they could do. I also tried to buy new tickets atthe front but the game was sold out. We finally couldn't take it after the first full inning and walked out to left field. Spoke to Kathy in customer service and they brought out folding chairs for us and made my son feel better. How they can justify selling these seats for 60 bucks each is beyond me...and they need to do a better job of disclosing what the view is really like.

I normally can't afford sitting this close to the action. I decided to go for it and I wasn't disappointed at all. Great view, very close to the players, and an awesome view of the stadium and scoreboard. I would highly recommend sitting in this section. The game started at 7pm and at 7:10 the sun was already down far enough that we were sitting in the shade.

"View is great except when looking towards home plate"

Was on 1st base side not far from the foul pole (seats are in foul territory). View is great except when looking towards home plate. If someone tall or that stands a lot is in the 1st row around seats 1-4, then they will most likely be blocking the view between home plate and first base. I found myself having to move back and forth in order to see what was happening during pitches and when there was acting between home and 1st base.

The seats are the first row under the overhang.
These seats were awesome because you were close enough to see the field and were protected from the sun.

These seats where very comfortable being larger in size. Enjoyed the waiter service and not missing action on the field. The big scoreboard is directly in front of you and can easily view by slightly looking up while not missing live action. The restrooms are very conveniently located and tile decor adds upscale touch. Bring your glove and get ready for foul balls.

Before the game started the sun was blaring down on us, Thank God it was only April, I could not imagine these seats later on in the Texas heat. Great view for the price. Only complaint would be that these sections are full of kids who want to catch any ball heading your way.

Other than a bit of sun in the face at the beginning of the game, these seats were great!

Fan Opinions of the Best Seats at Rangers Ballpark

  • "Left field and part of the 3rd base / left field line side gets the late sun."If you prefer the shade go for the first base side.
  • "Seats in sections 341-345 are the widest."I was not aware until I got the seats that there are 6 different widths of seats in the Ballpark. 341 to 345 I believe are the widest.
  • "I probably most like sections 22 and 30, premium or lower box."I really like the down the baseline siteline which gets you very close to the plate while also getting you a little closer to action on the field than the behind the plate view.
  • "I think Lower Infield Section 26 or Premium Section 25."You really get into the batter pitcher confrontation from this perspective because you can almost call balls and strikes and really see the movement on the pitches. You also have the best angle on batted balls and get a good view of positioning and range. The only annoying thing about these seats are looking through the net.
  • "Seating on the First Base Side Gets Shade First"Rangers Ballpark is known to be one of the hottest stadiums in all of baseball. Beating the heat and finding shade at Rangers Ballpark will make the difference between a pleasant experience and a sweaty one. For late afternoon and evening games, the sun will be behind the first base side of the field and seats on that side will see the shade first. Seats in left field will be the last to be in the shade and should be avoided if you are sensitive to the sun. Nearly all seats in right field are under an overhang that provides ample shade. Choose a double-digit row (10 and higher) for your best chance at shade. The Club Level provides access to an indoor concourse, but there are no overhangs protecting the outdoor seats.
