"Not as good as expected"

We sat in these for a concert, These seats would be located behind the goal fro a hockey game.
These new renovated seats have very little leg room and your knees press up against the seat in front of you.I would take the old seating over these and would not seat here for any future events.

They are horrible.

"Best Seats in MSG: 1st Row, Personal HDTV, 25% More Legroom"

Actual 1st row (nobody is in front of you). You get a clear view of everything.
Own personal HDTV (32-40 inches) right in front of your seat below your knees with the ability to choose what you watch.
25% more leg room.
There's a convenient drink rail so you don't spill the drink.
Because it's in the 2nd level, you won't find a better valued seat in Madison Square Garden.
Best view is at half court. Seats more towards the corners are value sweet spots. Seats behind the basket are farther away from court.

Good view of ice, miss a little of the near corner, but no biggie. Bathrooms right outside entrance. Much closer than 200s, MSG goes quite a bit out as well as up as it goes from 100s, 200s etc...

Fan Opinions of the Best Seats at Madison Square Garden

  • "There are better views from the cheap seats than there are for parts of the 100 sections."Row seems to matter more than section for the garden.
  • "Skip the 200s entirely, they're basically the back rows of the 100 sections."The first few rows of the 300s are better (a, b, c, and d).
  • "100 level seating is pretty good and close to the ice."No real obstructions of view except maybe the glass. I love siting down there, it feels like you are so close to the game!
  • "The West Balcony is one of my preferred seating locations"The West Balcony is way up high at the suite level, with 3 rows of seats and a row of bar stools. I love the bar stools and aim for these seats now when I go see my Rangers. The view is awesome, the concessions are a few steps away, and there is a good vibe. The only downside is that there aren't restrooms up there.
