Legends Suite seating at Yankee Stadium is located at field level behind home plate and on the infield. These seats are the ultimate in terms of view, amenities and comfort. Fans in these seats have access to the Legends Suite Club, the Ketel One Lounge and the DKNY Lounge. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the ticket price -- and you don't even have to leave your seats to get it. In-seat wait service is provided to fans in these cushioned suite seats. If you want to leave your seats, you can head to either of the Lounges for complimentary grab 'n go snacks and drinks. While the view from all Legends Suite seats is great, fans in sections 18-21 will enjoy a view from behind home plate. To sit behind the Yankees dugout, sit in Sections 15-17. To be closer to the visitor's dugout, choose sections 23-25.

Champions Suite seats are located just down the line from Legends Suite seats. The seats offer a great view of the field and a host of amenities, which makes them a popular alternative to Legends Suite seating. Fans will have access to the Ketel One Lounge or DKNY Lounge where they can snag grab 'n go snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Private restrooms and a rotating food menu round-out the Lounge amenities. If you don't want to leave your seats, you can take advantage of in-seat wait service as you sit in your cushioned seat.

At most stadiums, field level infield seats are among the most desirable seats in the stadium. However, with the abundance of Suite and Club seating at Yankee Stadium, Field Level Infield seats are often forgotten. These sections offer great views of the entire field and begin about ten rows from the field. For the best view, choose seats behind home plate in sections 118-121.

Field Level Outfield seats at Yankee Stadium are hit and miss. Because the seats include outfield seating and seats down each baseline, there are a variety of seating options. Some fans have complained about the foul poles in Sections 107 and 132, while others complain about being obstructed by handicapped seating. To sit near the Yankees bullpen, sit in Seat 1 on the right-side of Section 103. Alternatively, sitting in a high-number seat in Section 136 will have you next to the Visitor's bullpen. Sit as close to home plate as you can for your best chance at shade. Avoid Sections 103-107 for afternoon games if you are sensitive to the sun.

Sitting in the Delta Sky Suite seats will give you access to the Sky Suite Lounge with private restrooms, a private entrance and private elevators. Fans will also enjoy in-seat wait service and cushioned seats. Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the ticket price. Sit in sections 219-221 for a home plate view of Yankee Stadium and the scoreboard in left field. Because of their location behind home plate, these seats offer shade before many other seats on the 200 level.

Flanking the Delta Sky Suites on the second level of Yankee Stadium are Main Level Infield seats. Because of the shallow nature of the lower level at Yankee Stadium, the second deck is relatively low to the ground. However, the shallowness also means that the back rows of seating are also relatively far away. Never-the-less, you will have a good view of the field and a great view of the outfield scoreboard. Restrooms are scarce on the main level, so target Section 227A or 227B to be near a men's and women's restroom and plenty of food options.

Outfield seating on the Main Level includes seating down both baselines and wrapping into home run territory. Yankee Stadium is among the most homer-friendly parks out to right field. As such, sections 205, 206 and 207 get littered with home run balls. If you do choose to sit there, make sure to bring the shades and a hat during a day game -- the sun will be beating down on you all day. For a slightly more comfortable afternoon, choose seating in Sections 233 or 234, which are less likely to be in the sun and are close to men's, women's and family restrooms. If sitting in 210, 211, 228 or 229, be prepared to turn your body to watch the action on the infield -- the angle towards home plate is quite poor. Each section has up to 23 rows, and Rows 15 and above will give you a pretty good chance of being protected from the sun (except in right field).

The Bleachers at Yankee Stadium have a reputation for being loud, ridden with foul language and a terrible place for visiting fans to sit. So if you're bringing the kids or coming from out-of-town, spend a few extra dollars and site elsewhere. As you look closer, you can see why the fans might always be in a bad mood -- metal bleachers and a high likelihood of having an obstructed seat would cause anyone to be a little irritated. Never-the-less, if you're a Yankees fan on a budget and just want to catch a game, the Bleachers are your best bet. Completely avoid Sections 201, 239 and rows higher than 10 in Sections 202 and 238 -- that is unless you like having your view obstructed by the center field structure.

Located on the 300 level behind home plate, Jim Beam Suite seating offers access to the Suite Lounge with private restrooms and complimentary snacks and soft drinks. Fans will also receive in-seat wait service in cushioned suite seats. Among luxury seating options at Yankee Stadium, the Jim Beam Suite seats are one of the better options for avoiding the sun because the sun will be at your back during late afternoon and evening games.

The Terrace Level is located on the third deck at Yankee Stadium. Surrounding the Jim Beam Suites are Terrace Infield seats. These seats have a great view of the scoreboard in center field, but are much higher up than 200 level seating. Because of the intimacy of these sections (fewer than ten rows per section), these are a great option for quickly getting in and out of your seats. However, with up to 25 seats in a row, you'll want to get aisle seats to avoid having to step over a dozen strangers to get in and out. From a shade standpoint, these seats are not very well covered. Sections 313-316 will be your best chance to be in the shade first. One final issue with these seats is the Standing Room Only crowd located behind them. They make for more crowded lines and concourses and may occasionally try to poach your seat while you're away.

Terrace level seats in the Outfield run down both baselines and wrap around into home run territory. As you get farther down the baseline, you start to realize how far away from the action you are. The front rows of the Terrace level are twice as high up as the front of the Main (200) Level. The sections have ten or fewer rows, and there are plenty of nearby concession stands, beer stands and restroom options on each side of the field.

Grandstand Infield seating is an inexpensive way to catch a game. In fact, the grandstand seats behind home plate (Sections 419-421) are one of only two locations that offer a home plate view outside of club seating. These are highly recommended for fans who want a view of the entire field without spending Suite-level prices. For shade, opt for rows 8 and above on the third base side, or choose seats in Sections 414-420. Fans have complained about the plexiglass obstructing views in Rows 1 and 2. So if you are concerned, you might want to avoid the first two rows.

Each grandstand section has fourteen rows of seating, and there is a fairly significant difference between rows 1 and 14. Sitting in Row 1 will have you stepping to the concourse in moments, while seating in the last row contains 28 seats and a walk down more than a dozen stairs. On the flip side, The higher the row number, the higher the likelihood you will be in the shade. During the hot summer months, this could come as a blessing. For a truly good deal, try to aim for Rows 5 or 6. There are fewer than 20 seats in these rows, they are only a few steps from the concourse, and you have a fairly good chance of being in the shade as long as your seats are in foul territory (outfield seating, especially in RF, is in the sun).
