Diamond Club seating at Safeco Field is located directly behind home plate. Each of the four sections has just 8 rows of seating labeled A-H (the second row in Section 35 is wheelchair accessible). Some of the front row seats are closer to home plate than the pitcher. Fans sitting in these seats will enjoy a private ballpark entrance and access to the Diamond Club Lounge. Fans will also enjoy free food and beverage and in-seat wait service.

Infield seating closest to the field is made up of sections 119-141. The Mariners dugout is in front of sections 121-124, while the visiting team sits in front of 136-138. The first row behind the dugouts is Row 5. Sections in this seating zone have up to 41 rows with the last row being wheelchair accessible. Choose seats on the 3B side (135-141) for your best chance at shade or choose seats on the 1B side to see the skyline high above LF. The main scoreboard in CF is viewable from all of these sections.

Less expensive than Infield seating is seating down the line. These seats will get you as close to the field at a fraction of the cost. Sections 142-147 will have the sun behind them for late afternoon and evening games, while 116-118 are great for seeing the skyline over left field. If you want to see the big board in center field, choose sections closer to the infield. Like infield seating, the last row in these sections is 41 and each section has wheelchair accessible seating.

Sit in the right field seats for your best chance at a home run. Safeco is not known as a home run park, but left-handed hitters often litter sections 107-109 with souvenirs. Beware, though, as these seats will leave you exposed to the sun. Section 103 is an alcohol-free family section, but it is not well protected from the sun. Avoid 102-105 entirely if you want to see the scoreboard in Center Field.

Terrace Club Infield seats are located at press level and will give you a great view of the field. Unfortunately, there are no seats directly behind home plate for a head-on view of the scoreboard. None-the-less, seats in sections 233-241 will have a very good view of the big board and are one of the best choices for seats in the shade at Safeco Field. With the concourse entrance at the top of each section, you'll be walking down to your seats and up to the concourse. Fortunately, there is in-seat wait service in these seats so your trips to the concourse will be limited. These seats are also padded and wider than normal seating.

Terrace seats down the line offer great amenities such as in-seat wait service, wide padded seats and access to the Club Lounge with televisions and a full bar. Choose 216-218 for a great view of the skyline in left field or 247 to be close to men's and women's restrooms and an express beer stand.

The Safeco Field bleachers are located in sections 180-195 in left and center field. The main video board is directly above center field seating so you will want to avoid those if you want a direct look at the big board. Both team bullpens are in front of Sections 183-185 and the first row of 182 will occasionally see a home run ball from a right-handed hitter. All of these seats are actually in the second deck of seating and the seats in CF especially are very far away from home plate. The CF bleachers are also a poor option for avoiding the sun. It's no surprise that the center field bleachers are usually the cheapest tickets in Safeco Field. The tunnel entrance is located at Row 6, so even the walk up to Row 17 won't be too bad.

Fans on a budget will enjoy infield seating in the upper deck at Safeco Field. Sections 328-333 will give you a home plate view of the field, a head-on view of the center field scoreboard and a look to the left will show you the Seattle skyline. Grab seats in the first eight rows to avoid walking up a lot of stairs and dealing with the steepness of the upper deck.

The View Level seats down the line offer more concession options than the upper decks at many MLB stadiums. Though incredibly far from home plate, Section 313 is near men's and women's restrooms, the Landing Bar and ice cream -- not to mention it offers a great view of the skyline. Though they are well protected from the sun, Rows 15 and above should be avoided if you have issues with steep stairs. Seats on the 1B side of the field will have the best view of the skyline.

View Level seats in the Outfield are made up of sections 306-310. These seats are well-protected by the retractable roof (even when it's open), incredibly far away from home plate. Great for grabbing a beer and casually watching baseball, but not great for seeing detail or the scoreboard.
