Seats on the Third Base Side Get Shade First

The Safeco Field dome is used to help fans avoid precipitation, but it will not help fans avoid the sun. For seats in the shade at Safeco Field, buy tickets on the third base side of the field. These seats will have the sun behind them for late afternoon and evening games. Seats in RF (especially in the Upper Deck) will be in the sun the longest and should be avoided if you are sensitive to the sun. Meanwhile, Sections 333-344 are among the first to get shade and are well covered from the upper deck roof. The last few rows of the terrace level and lower level are also protected by the seats above.
