Infield seats at Field Level are sometimes referred to as Diamond Box and Field Box Front Back and Middle. These sub-sections only differ in closeness to the field (row number). The Indians dugout is located in front of sections 160-164, while the visiting team dugout is in front of 140-146. Seats on the 3B side of the field will see the shade before the 1B side. The Lower bowl is very shallow, which means that some kids may have a difficult time seeing over taller fans in front of them.

Like many ballparks, the further down the line you get, thee worse the angle towards home plate gets. Sections 117-120 and 177-179 have the best angle towards home plate, but they're also the furthest away. Sections 165-174 will get shade before any of the other sections in this location, though 170-174 might struggle to see the LF scoreboard. If you're going to the ballpark to drink, Section 117 features men's and women's restrooms, the Budweiser Patio and even an ATM for when you run out of beer money. Buy your friends a couple beers, then head towards Section 130 and watch them throw out their arms on the Speed Pitch (don't worry, there's a First Aid office right in between at Section 120).

The Left Field Bleachers at Progressive Field are among the most iconic seats in all of baseball. Located in a Grandstand above the high left-field wall, these seats give you a great outfield view of home plate. These are bleacher seats, so they will be a little uncomfortable and good luck seeing the main scoreboard (which is right behind you). But as far as bleacher seats go, these are pretty good. The front row will have to contend with the railing -- but these seats also see the most home runs in Left Field.

Sections 101-113 make up outfield seating in Right Field at Progressive Field. These seats offer your best chance at a home run ball. Sit in the first three rows of 101-108 and the first ten rows of 109-113 for your best chance of going home with a souvenir. The Indians bullpen is to the right of Section 101, while the visitors warm up to the left of Section 113. Seat 1 in 101 will have you right on the rail, while seat 12 in 113 will have you on the rail closest to the visitor bullpen. Beware of the sun in these sections as you will be looking west towards home plate. The Leinenkugel Lodge at Section 108 is a centrally located bar to pick up an adult beverage.

The Lower Boxes at Progressive Field are located in Sections 250-257. Sections 251-256 will give you the best home plate view in this seating zone. Lower box seats are located directly behind the 100 level and are one of the best seating options for shade at Progressive Field.

The Club Seats at Progressive Field are located on the first base side of the field. The seats include free food and non-alcoholic beverages, along with access to a climate-controlled lounge. These sections are at Press Level, which affords them a great view of the entire field, including a head-on view of the scoreboard in Left Field. Despite the club amenities, these seats are exposed to the elements (rain and sun) and are on the side of the field which receives shade last. There are three levels of face values for these tickets (more expensive closer to home plate), though the cost increase is not necessarily warranted.

Mezzanine Outfield seats are located in the second deck of outfield seating in Right Field. These aren't the outfield seats you choose to sit in for catching a home run ball -- they're just too far away. In addition, they are among the last sections in the park to get shade. They're good bargain seats as long as it's not too hot and sunny.

Upper Level Infield seats are made up of 400 and 500 Level seats. This seating zone is unreasonably steep, so focus on seats in the 400 level for fewer stairs and less vertigo. Sections along the third base line will get the shade first, while first base seats will have a more direct view of the scoreboard.

Like Infield seating in the Upper Level, you will want to focus on seats in the 400 Level. These seats are closer to the field (better view) and won't have you walking up dozens of stairs. The concessions are few and far between on these levels, so don't come to the ballpark too hungry or thirsty. Sections 469-478 and 570-577 are among the first seats in the stadium to get shade.

The third deck of seating in right field is above the mezzanine. These seats are high, steep and sunny, which is why they are among the cheapest seats at Progressive Field.
