The Astros dugout is near sections 122-126, making these sections popular among the home crowd. Alternatively, visiting fans may want to sit in sections 112-116 behind the visitor's dugout. Row 5 is the first row behind the player dugouts. For the best view of the game behind home plate, you can't go wrong with sections 118-120. These sections give you a backstop view of the field and the scoreboard in right field. They also are closest to a number of concessions and amenities on the concourse.

Fans sitting down the line will want to sit on the third base side in order to get the shade first. These fans will also have a better view at the scoreboard in Right Field. For your best chance at a foul ball, try the first few rows of 109-111 or 127-132. Among the best down the line seats in all of baseball, Sections 106 and 107 have an outstanding angle towards home plate and a great view of the scoreboard.

The bullpen boxes are a unique seating location in right field under the right field scoreboard. The Astros bullpen is in front of sections 155-156, while home run balls from left-handed batters are a common occurrence in sections 152-154. Meanwhile, the overhead terrace provides shade for fans in rows 18 and above.

The Crawford Boxes in Left Field are a collection of five sections in Left field that give you an elevated outfield view of the field. The amenities are thin in these sections, so sit in 104 if you want to be close to concessions and restrooms on the main concourse. Dozens of home run balls fly into these sections each season, but make sure to bring your sunglasses. There is zero protection from the sun in the Crawford Boxes.

One of the best ways to beat the Houston heat at Minute Maid ballpark is to sit in the club sections. Fans will be greeted with in-seat wait service and access to a climate-controlled concourse with air conditioning and specialty concessions. Sections 217-221 are located directly behind home plate and only have six rows of seating. This means fewer stairs and fewer fans walking around distracting you.

Like infield club seating, seats down the line offer in-seat wait service and access to the club concourse with televisions, private restrooms and air conditioning. But being farther down the line, you'll save on your ticket price. each section has 12 or fewer rows.

The Mezzanine is made up of 200 level seating in right field. These seats are under a lot of shade when the roof is open, but they offer little to no chance of seeing the scoreboard right above them. There are up to 17 rows in each section, and most seats in rows 6 and higher will struggle to see all of the action in deep right field. With the All You Can Eat concession stand at Section 251 and family, men's and women's restrooms nearby, the mezzanine is a great option for families.

The Terrace Level at Minute Maid Park is located in the first nine rows of the upper deck and share a tunnel with the the view level seats directly above. If you can't find seats in the first few rows of the terrace level, it's best to try to find seats in the first couple rows of the view level because the cost is cheaper and the amenities are the same. Sections 317-321 will provide the best view of the entire field.

Terrace Level seats extend down each baseline. Similar to infield terrace seats, these are the first nine rows of the upper deck and it makes more sense to buy the first couple rows of the view level than the last couple rows of the terrace level.

View level seats aren't for the faint of heart -- they're pretty high up there, but the first few rows of seating are a bargain compare to Terrace level seats just below. The tunnel entrance is located at Row 1, so get seats as low as you can to reduce your walk up the steep stairs. Sections 417-421 will give you a great view of the entire field. These seats are well covered from the rain and sun.

The Astros did a great job playing the elements in the upper deck at Minute Maid Park. Although many of the seats down the line are an incredible distance from home plate, they are well covered from the sun. Additionally, men's, women's and family restrooms are never too far away, which is unusual for upper deck seating. Choose seats in the first couple of rows and you'll get a view similar to terrace level fans who paid much more. Avoid sections 430-438 if you want to see the scoreboard.
