Types of Seating
A majority of seats are bleacher-style. Fans should come prepared not to have a backrest during the game.
For those looking to have a more comfortable seat, the best place to find a chairback seat is in the South Endzone.

Sections NKU and NLU are designated visitor seating sections at Beaver Stadium.

The Lower Corner seating location has a great view of scoring plays in the near endzone. Fans are in a perfect spot to see touchdowns on their side of the field, but it can be difficult to see what is going on when the action approaches the other end of the field. The proximity to the field in these seats is great, especially in the front half of the section, so fans will be happy to sit in this location.
Sections SA, SB, SC, SH, SJ, and SK in this location are student sections, so these sections will be some of the loudest and rowdiest throughout the game. Fans who do not want to experience such a party atmosphere throughout the game should look to avoid these sections at Beaver Stadium.
From behind the uprights on the lower seating tier, the Lower Endzone seats have tough views of the far end of the field, but are some of the closest to scoring plays at the near endzone.
Sections SD-SG in this location are designated student sections in the stadium, making it a louder, more energetic atmosphere for watching a game. Fans looking for a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere are advised to look elsewhere.
The Lower Sideline seating location is in a prime location to watch a Penn State game. Fans in this location have an opportunity to be both close to the field and near midfield, the perfect combination for watching a game.
Sections WA and EA in this location are designated student sections, so they are likely to be very loud throughout the game. Fans should make sure to stay clear of those sections if you do not want to be in a loud party atmosphere throughout the game.
The Upper Endzone seats are home to some of the furthest views, but will also have one of the most affordable price tags. Fans may be left watching the videoboards to stay in touch with the details at the far endzone, but will have a fun aerial view of scoring plays at the near endzone.
A unique feature of the seats behind the south endzone is the chairback seating, making these seats a lot more comfortable than the typical bleacher bench seats found throughout the stadium. Chairbacks are also available in the north upper endzone, but only in the front rows.
Designated visitor seating is available in Sections NKU and NLU, as well as in the upper rows of Sections NDU through NJU, making these seats a great place to be for visiting fans to sit and cheer for the opposing team.
Along the sidelines on the upper level of seating at Beaver Stadium, these sections are a good option for fans looking to purchase a cheaper ticket while still having the desired sideline views. This seating location has an elevated seating height which allows you to see all areas of the field, but will feel much further than seating options found on the lower tier.
With the sections nearest to the endzone historically being less expensive than most, this is a good area for fans who want to make it to a game, but don't want to break the bank in the process. Sections on the West Sideline run from Row 41 at the front, and end at Row 80 in back. East sideline sections are slightly larger, starting with Row 41 and ending at Row 90.
